Dan and Katy VanderZwaag

Dan hails from Holland, Michigan, while Katy grew up in Chatham, Massachusetts. They both migrated to Missoula, Montana in the mid 90's where they met and fell in love. Glass-blowing became a shared passion soon afterwords, and they started their business (originally called Garden City Glassworks) in 2000. The name was changed to Fire Creek Glass in 2006 to represent a new focus and direction in their burgeoning trade.

Fire Creek Glass takes its name from the Fire Creek, which flows through their bit of land west of Missoula.
